Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 1999 Ford F-350 w/a Rectangular Plug
Updated 10/27/2025 | Published 03/24/2025 >
Question:
I was looking at product HM40975. I have a 99 f-350 and some products say there were two kinds of connectors for that year. My vehicle has a rectangular connector at the rear for the 7 way wiring. Is there a harness I can buy that will plug into vehicle and plug into this trailer plug. I am also interested in a gooseneck plug to run into the bed. If you could point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it. Thanks

Hey Robert! Thank you so much for that information! We do have a 7-way connect that plugs into a rectangular one for your 1999 Ford F-350. It is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package item # C55243.
To add a gooseneck plug to your truck bed you'll want the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug item # HM40157.
If you have any additional questions feel free to throw them into the comment box below and I'll be happy to help you.
