What type of wire do I need to run to the thermostat from the ac unit?

Hello Keith, thanks for reaching out. For thermostat wire we recommend using 14 gauge wire such as part # DW07550-1 for runs under 25'. Anything longer than 25' you should bump it up to 12 gauge.
