Which Roadactive Suspension Kit Fits 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

Do you have a product that functions like the RAS system that will fit a 2025 GMC Crew Cab Slt? I don’t want to change the ride of the truck so much that it becomes uncomfortable. I am only pulling a double axle utility trailer that is probably 3500 pounds loaded.

Hey Thomas, the 2024 fit carries over to the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab so what you'd want is the part # RAS54FR. This will give you the additional support you are looking for that will also improve ride quality/handling loaded and unloaded. Have you heard good things about the RAS kits too?

Jameson, The 2025 GMC Sierra SLT has what appears to be a single leaf spring and the RAS system will not fit this vehicle. The silverado might have different springs. It appears that air bags for this truck cause the suspension to be very stiff unloaded. Sumo springs bottom out without any flexibility resulting in a loaded scenario.

@Tom Thank you for passing that on! I tried looking up updates to the 2025 models and everything I saw said it was just minor cosmetic changes. Where did you read that the air bags would be harsh? Normally if you have them at minimum air pressures unloaded (5 psi) the ride quality is unloaded.
