Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Firestone Ride-Rite Airbag Kit with Easy-Mount Compressor and wireless control. Now, if you're looking to keep your truck level, stable, and comfortable while towing or hauling, this Firestone Air-Ride Ride-Rite Kit is gonna be a great option for you to consider. The air springs are custom-fit for your specific vehicle. These use precision brackets that are gonna bolt right into place in those factory mounting points, so what that means for you is no guesswork, and really, no major modifications to your vehicle. Speaking of fitment, this is going to work with your 2001 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500, 2500 HD and 3500.
And within that year span, it's also gonna work with the Classic and the new-body vehicles as well. But this system is going to give you up to 5,000 pounds of additional load-leveling support. And what that means is it's gonna help your rear suspension stay level under those heavy loads. It's gonna help improve handling, braking and overall stability.
However, it is important to note that these airbags don't actually increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure that you're staying within the recommended weight capacity from your manufacturer of your vehicle since this doesn't actually increase that capacity, but this is going to make hauling and towing a whole lot safer, more controlled, and more comfortable. These reinforced rubber airbags and tight-sealing fittings are gonna work together to prevent leaks, and the plated brass components are going to resist corrosion, so the whole setup is built to last. It's gonna withstand the elements that it's constantly exposed to. And the included compressor is compact, it does run on 12-volt power. It is designed for reliable, everyday use.
It doesn't require an air tank. And this kit includes a no-drill mounting bracket for the compressor and the wireless controller here. So, what I wanna do is, I basically have everything laid out on my table as it comes out of the box. I do have the airbags kind of loosely assembled with the brackets, but on your screen, I have a picture of what the no-drill mounting bracket for the compressor and the wireless control unit is going to look like just to kind of give you an idea of how these parts are gonna work together. One of the biggest perks is the wireless app-based control system.
You're gonna be able to inflate or deflate both the airbags at the same time, right from your smartphone, whether you're sitting in the cab of your truck or standing outside checking your trailer. The pressure's gonna be adjustable from anywhere between five and 100 PSI, so you're gonna be able to dial in exactly the support that you need. This is a single-path control system, and the app is gonna be a free download either from your Android or iOS App Store. So, you download that onto your smartphone, then you connect it to the system, and you'll be good to go. So, this kit includes everything that you see here on my table before me.
