Hello , I have a Reese Fifth Wheel hitch , Part # 30031 . I need to buy a Slider unit for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with 6-1/2 foot bed . Will the Reese head unit fit onto the Reese Slider unit Part # RP50024 ?

I spoke with my contact at Reese and the correct slider for the old 30031 5th wheel trailer hitch is # RP30048. This is a square tube slider with 10 inches of travel.
The 30031 head will not fit on the new round tube slider # RP50024.
