Replacement Tilt Pin for Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack

Updated 03/12/2025 | Published 03/03/2025

Question:

I have a yakima holdup rack. Mine is black in color. The red plastic pull pin head for the tilt snapped off. I removed the pin and it has a spring and cylinder bolt. You have a replacement tilt pin for a holdup rack with a metal clip that slides into the end of the pin. Will that work for my rack? Lee

Hey Lee! The Replacement Tilt Pull Pin # Y39FR is the right part for the HoldUp. However, based on your description it sounds like you need the Replacement Latching Spring Pin # 8880582, is that correct?

Mine should be the pin # Y39FR My rack doesn't have the treads to thread the 8880582 into the rack. Are these the only two options for the holdup racks? Mine is probably from 2006 - 2009 . It came with our used car.. Thank you

@LeeM if it is 2006-2009 then it is for sure the # Y39FR. The other pins are either for the add-on or for the EVO.
