Will Replacement 2" Hitch Shank for Yakima HoldUp Fit Older HoldUp Bike Racks

Question:

I have an older model hold up rack and the tilt pin mechanism is broken and I don’t see any replacement parts That fit the existing quick release location as this has a welded on area and the replacement pins on your website have a threaded/ pin. I was going to simply replace the entire section but was unsure if it would fit.

Hey Alex,

I checked with Yakima for you and the older Yakima HoldUp bike racks are able to use the replacement shank, which is the following part number:

- Replacement 2" Hitch Shank for Yakima HoldUp Bike Racks # 8880580

Per Yakima, this will work for the HoldUp racks from 2008 onwards.
