Question:

I have a canoe that is almost 20 feet long and another Kayak that is 12 feet long. Will these both fit? If so, what carriers should I use?

Hey Bethany, the Yakima LowRider # Y82QD has a max weight capacity of 750 lbs so as long as your kayaks aren't terribly wide and don't exceed the capacity, I don't see why you can use this for both.

For a carrier, I'd recommend going with the Yakima JayLow Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs # Y04073 which will mount your kayaks on their sides rather than flat across, saving space on the trailer.

Hey Bethany, how did things go with the Yakima LowRider and JayLow carriers for your canoe and kayak? Were you able to get both boats secured the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
