The Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08107 is designed primarily for lighter loads such as watersport accessories and cargo. These lighter loads require a more sophisticated suspension i.e. coilovers in order to ride smoothly. If you just need to carry more weight and don't mind a rougher ride then you can go with the Malone MicroSport Trailer part # MPG460G which has an 800 lbs weight capacity and utilizes a less sophisticated leaf spring suspension system that can carry more yes but does not have the same ride quality as the Yakima Rack and Roll.
Please note, you can obtain the Heavy Duty Shocks part # Y08110 which will increase the weight capacity of the Yakima Rack and Roll to 350 lbs.
