Question:
Im installing my redarc brake controller on a 2016 Toyota Highlander Limited. You sent me everything I need. I have my breakers installed and wires into the vehicle. My last step is to connect the red wire from the controller to the brake light activation wire on the vehicle. It is not the same as a 2017 that you have a video of, as there are only two green wires plugged into the top/back of the plunger. Any idea what wire should be looking for?

Hey Brendan, while I don't know which wire you will need to use as the signal circuit I can help you easily make this determination. Use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 and test both wires till you find the one that only has voltage when the brakes are applied.

Hey Brendan, how did things go finding the correct brake light activation wire on your Highlander using the circuit tester? Your update could make it easier for others wiring a Redarc controller on a similar setup.
