Parts Needed to Add DeeMax Disc Brakes to Trailer with Tandem Lippert 7k Axles

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/27/2024

Question:

Im Looking to upgrade my trailer brakes to the deemaxx disc brake kits. Im not sure which one to buy. I was able to find the part number on the 2 7k axles on my trailer. I also verified the lug pattern is 8 over 6.5”. Here is the part number of the axle: LC176-SBSA-80-65-N0SP-US-L-86537-7232-18BULPT V000274129 . Serial Number is S009093165. I also have a photo of the axle sticker. Are you able to help me find the right match? I read how i can take the hub off and look at the bearing part numbers or measure but i was hoping i could get the right info without doing that. thanks

Hey Mark, since we know your trailer has two 7k axles and a bolt pattern of 8 on 6-1/2 inch the correct DeeMax disc brake kit would be the part # DE66AR which comes with everything needed to add electric over hydraulic DeeMax brakes to your trailer.

Hey Mark, how did the DeeMaxx disc brake kit work out on your trailer with those 7K axles? Knowing how the upgrade performed could really help others planning a similar setup. Your feedback might point them in the right direction.
