Will The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar e38FV Fit A Hitch With 1" Thick Lip?

Question:

I have a Chevy 1 ton pick up truck with an adapter in the receiver with the two piece system. It is quite thick at the flange, just a hair under 1 inch. Will this antirattle device adapt to 1 inch thick?

Hey Keith, thanks for reaching out, and great question. The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV is a new product for us, so I ran your question by the engineers who designed it. They are confident that the collar will work on a hitch with a lip just under 1" thick. It might even work with a 1" lip, but it would be a bit harder to install than usual. If your lip is just under 1" though it should work fine. We measured the gap that goes around the lip and it goes up to like 15/16" so I do believe this will work for your hitch.

I received the anti-rattle hitch collar and it does not fit my Chevy Silverado Heavy duty 1 ton truck. We are sending it back for refund. Would like something like this if it is engineered to actually fit our truck.
