Question:
Hello, I was referred to your website by a local welding company and told that part number 13065 would be the correct hitch for my Jeep. It appears that the installation of the hitch is fairly simple and Im hoping between my husband and I - we can figure it out! I would like to buy this part, but am wondering if I need to buy any other parts for the installation? Wiring, plugs, etc. Thank you for your time!

The Curt trailer hitch # C13065 will indeed fit your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Like you said, installation is very straight forward with this hitch. I have linked the instructions and a video showing an installation for you. I am certain that you and your husband will have no trouble installing the hitch.
The only special tool needed is a torque wrench if you do not already have one. If you need one most auto parts stores will loan out tools so you would not have to buy a torque wrench just for this.
The hitch comes with everything needed for installation but wiring and other accessories are not included. To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
And for trailer wiring I recommend Tow Ready wiring harness # 118425. I have linked a video showing installation of the wiring as well.
