Are There Other Brand Hitch Locks that Work with Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack

Question:

Are there any aftermarket hitch locks the ones that thread through the receiver hitch for anti-rattling purposes that are more substantial than the SKS Yakima uses? Ive heard the lock cores are not the strongest, can be relatively easily defeated and gunk up easily. Maybe thats not all true it is the internet after all, but Id just as soon start off with something bigger and stronger if at all possible. What are your thoughts?

Hey Paul, that we are aware of there isn't a different brand of hitch lock that works with any Yakima racks like the OnRamp part # Y88DJ. We've not had any issues with them being easier to defeat than other options or that they get gunked up and become hard to use. We sell so many Yakima racks that if that was a legit concern I am confident we would have heard of it. Where did you see this?
