Replacement 2" Shank for 20K Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control
Question:
Is it possible to buy just the receiver portion of the hitch in 2” for my motorhome? The tongue weight or sway isn’t an issue but would rather play it safe if I own the rest of the system. Nice to have that option on both tow vehicles. Thank you.

Hey Jim, thanks for reaching out!
We do have a 2" shank that fits with the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BXW2000 as part # BXW4002 on our site.
You'll be able to use the rest of the weight distribution system with this in place of your 2-1/2" shank, but this does have a lower weight rating at 15,000 lbs so you'll be limited to that when using this shank.
What type of trailer are you planning on towing behind your motorhome?

Jon, Thanks for the reply. I will be buying both the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control for the 2.5' receiver and the 2" shank when I get back from the current trip. Trailer is a 2007 Pace 24" stacker. Steel and a little heavy. I will be close to the 15k when loaded. The motorhome is a class A 40' with a tag axle. Don't even know it's back there with no sway system. That being said, I'd rather use the Sway Control for the cost of the shank. I've looked at upgrading the hitch on the motorhome but all the specs on the materials used on either hitch are virtually identical except for the 2" receiver. Jim
