I have a Kendon trailer with straight spindle. It uses L44649 inner and outer but has a 1.25” ID seal. Is there a replacement hub assembly available for this?

Yes, we do have a hub that will work for you the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly w/ Case for 2.7K Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 - Galvanized - Pre-Greased # CE13315, or cast iron # CE13311. This hub has both inner and outer bearing L44649, and grease seal is 1.249" inner diameter and 1.983" outer diameter.
