Trailer Idler Hubs With L44649 Inner and Outer Bearings And 1-1/4 Grease Seal

Question:

My trailer has 1 1/16inch spindles but uses a 1 1/4inch ID grease seal. I dont see a hub on your site with that combination. I am looking at your hub AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K which has all the correct dimensions for my trailer except that I need a 1.25inch ID grease seal. The seal on that hub is 1.5inch ID. I see you have a seal RG06-010 that has 1.249inch ID and the OD is 1.983. However, the original seal on your hub says it has an OD of 1.987. Will that difference in OD create a problem with the seal if I switch the seals or is it an appropriate replacement?

You will want either the CE Smith Galvanized # CE13315 or Black # CE13311 idler hub assemblies. These both have the 1-1/16" ID bearings # L44649 and include grease seals for your 1-1/4" spindle diameter.
