Question:
Just wanted to make my view known Refusal to service my 2012 Patriot Brake system. My brakes on my 2012 Jeep still work. Just require regular servicing. What a load of crap. Never using Blue Ox ever again and will be very VOCAL about my displeasure. You are the John Deere of towing. Your company sucks and is an example of the rot in the US market.

Hey John, sorry to hear about your bad experience with Blue Ox. It does suck that they couldn't help you, but I just want to be sure you are aware that we at etrailer are a completely separate company. They are a vendor of ours, so we do distribute their products, along with a ton of other towing brands.
That said, I think it is safe to say that you are OUT on the Blue Ox. So if I may recommend an alternative, the Brake Buddy # HM39494 is a comparable portable braking system. Or if you want to go with something more permanent, The Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System # SM99251 is a great option. They are known for being durable and dependable so I think you would have a much better experience with something like that.
Feel free to reply below if you have any other questions for me, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks for the reply. Venting. Understand they are a vendor. Remaining life mission - inform everyone how they treat customers. Blue Ox - never again. Gotta cool down a bit. So frustrating. But…now I can crack it open on my own and see how it works/fix it. They won’t do it so I might as well. DEMCO looks promising. Thanks. Need to do some research.
