Hello. I am planning on purchasing a hitch for my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab short bed. I am looking to buy the Curt C15409. However Im not sure on which model to go with with or without factory hitch. Is the factory hitch round the tube style that connects to the bumper? Or was there a factory square tube option? Looking forward to your answer.

Hey Tim! Congrats on your future purchase! Not sure which hitch your new truck may or may not have had and there's next to no information online about 2006 factory hitches for it. The good news is you don't have to worry about it. The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C15409 works with the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500's with or without the factory hitch.
