Giving this a 2 because the box came destroyed with no hardware.
I have bought from Etrailer before this order. This particular time from shopping the site to receiving the hitch rates a 4 out of 10. While shopping in tried to use the chat assistance but the individual on the other end kept pointing me to them wrong products then insisted that's all there was. Too me a couple days to figure out the brands and part numbers of the hitch I was looking for 2007 Ram 2500 no factory hitch class five. Shopped it and ended up back at E trailer. Placed my order. The hitch arrived with very little protection and no hardware. Upon contacting Etrailer and advising them I get the hitch it was poorly protected for shipping and the hardware was missing, the insistence the hardware was tucked in the receiver pocket even after I told them I had removed the packaging and there was nothing attached to them hitch pretty much had me to them point of almost using profanity. Figuring since this was a lack of proper packaging on Etrailers part they would expedite the hardware to me, not. Took almost another week to get the hardware. Had to just get hardware locally myself instead of waiting another week. Etrailer was not sure when the replacement hardware would ship or arrive had to wait two more days for that information. The hitch in itself was a little disappointing as it fell lower than expected and doesn't really sit close to the cross brace thus drops lower than the original by several inches. Drilling is required for the front mount bolts.

Hitch install was easy. Receiver sits lower then a stock hitch but not to bad.
HEAVY DUTY! Straight forward install. I cut stock mount off to put this on. Ends up sitting a little lower than OEM receiver tube.
The installation was a little harder than expected. The original hitch had to be cut so the new hitch would fit properly. Once we removed the old hitch not the cross member the new hitch bolted up perfectly. Thanks
Good fit. I made install harder. Woulda been easy. Didn’t want to see old factory hitch but didn’t one the curt that stuck down further than stock. Had to match frame paint.

Super fast shipping. I liked being able to track my package. Had an issue with my hitch getting scratched due to box failure and touch up paint was quickly provided. Pleasant to do business.
Receiver is well built and heavy duty. Installation was easy. Only complaint is it does not fit as tight to the truck as the factory hitch. I have a flat bed and this left a good 3” gap between bed and top of hitch. The factory hitch was just below bed with no gap.

As you can see from the pictures I had a previous hitch on my truck. I didn't want to just add one below the factory one so I opted for the one designed for a truck without the factory hitch. lesson learned........you don't just remove the existing factory hitch because this one uses some bolts and mounting points from the crossmember. Short answer is just torch off the bottom hitch portion and bolt on the new one. Clif
