Can Removable Arms of Torklift Camper Tie Downs be Reused on Newer Truck

Updated 01/23/2025 | Published 01/20/2025

Question:

I bought a set of torklift tied downs last year for my 2008 which...I just totalled in a black ice storm in Kansas. I am replacing it with a 2020 silverado. I would like to know if I can purchase a set of the frame mounts without the arms? These arms are near new and so is the set that came with the camper so Id have three sets total... Thank you

Hey Josh, sorry to hear about your truck! Unfortunately the removable portion of the Torklift tie downs isn't the same on every application so you wouldn't be able to use them again on your new truck as the new truck will require a different length of those.

I attached a link to a page that has all of the Torklift tie downs we offer that fit your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 but if you wanted to let me know what bed length you have, if you have running boards, and what hitch the truck has I can be more specific.

Thanks, Jameson: 2020 Silverado Cab-length factory running boards Factory HD(2.5" receiver) hitch Factory 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch 6'9" bed (Also has the power tailgate option - don't know what all is potentially in the way under there)

@JoshuaM Exactly what I needed thanks! The Torklift kit part # TL86NR is the tie down set you'd need for your truck.
