How Do the Shock Absorbers for the Roadmaster Comfort Ride for a Triple Axle Trailer Get Installed
Updated 11/03/2025 | Published 01/19/2025 >
Question:
on the triple axle shock installation do you put the front 2 axles shock on like a tandem axle with the front shock facing towards the rear of the trailer and the 2 axle with the shock facing the front of the trailer or do you put the shocks on the back 2 axles facing each other like a tandem axle trailer or does it even matter which 2 shocks face each other the kit does not say which way to go. thanks mark

Mark, I spoke with Roadmaster, and they said that when installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Triple Axle Trailers # RM-2460-3 on a triple axle trailer, you're going to install the first shock facing the rear, then the next one facing the front, and the last one facing the rear.
I have also included the picture they sent me so you can get a better visual. If there is anything else I can help you with feel free to leave a comment and let me know!

Hey Mark, how did the install go with the Roadmaster Comfort Ride shocks on your triple axle trailer? Did the alternating front and rear setup work out as expected? Your update could make it easier for the next person doing the same job.
