Does this converter charger have some type of switch to go from lead acid to lithium?

Yes, it does Jeff! It's more a jumper than a switch. I have attached a couple of pictures below of the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section item # PD4645V. The jumper is part of the circuit board, and you simply move the jumper over to the LI side to switch to the lithium charging profile.
