Features to know about

Comfort and Simplicity for the Long Haul

seated PM62VR

If you're on the road for weeks at a time, you need more than a weekend toilet. This PowerMax toilet is built for part-time RVers who want comfort and durability without the extra weight. A full-height seat makes it easier on your knees, and the ceramic bowl wipes down fast with less effort. You also get a soft-close lid that brings a little peace and quiet to your bathroom routine, and helps avoid waking the family when nature calls before sunrise. If your RV bathroom's already a tight squeeze, the round bowl helps save space. It's a solid upgrade if your current toilet feels too flimsy, cramped, or noisy.

Easier to Clean Than Plastic Bowls

A ceramic toilet bowl saves time and effort on cleanup. The glazed finish creates a smooth, non-porous surface that resists stains and odors better than plastic. It brushes out clean without scuffing or scratching, so your bathroom stays fresher with less scrubbing. Want to make cleanup even easier? This toilet is compatible with a hand sprayer kit (DOM75FR, sold separately).

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

To make sure this toilet fits your RV, measure from the wall to the center of the floor flange. This is the rough-in measurement and you'll need at least 10" for a proper fit. If your current toilet is still installed, you can measure from the wall to the mounting bolts for a good estimate of the flange location. Just keep in mind that an offset flange or a 4-bolt toilet can throw off this measurement, so if you're not sure, removing the old toilet is the best way to double-check before you order.

I had replaced the original toilet with a domestic 310 from camping world and were sorely disappointed
With it. After a month every time you flushed it it leaked about 2 tablespoons of water on the floor from the flush valve. It never would bring water all the way around the front of the bowl when flushed….. the Power Max is new but it seems to flush very well and by design uses much less water and no leaks.. very happy so far but as I said only been used a week so far.

Awesome toilet ready to install only problem we had the water in the camper was at a small angle to the tilt and had to adjust the connection, but works great and looks good and comfortable

See what our Experts say about this PowerMax RV Toilet

  • Is the Dometic 310 Toilet the Same as the Powermax 310 Toilet?
Yes, it is James. The PowerMax 310 RV Toilet item # PM42VR is a Dometic 310 toilet. The PowerMax label is a high-performance flushing system featuring a powerful swirl-jet cleaning action. The PowerMax 310 RV Toilet item # PM42VR has a elongated seat designed to be similar to one you'll find at home. It has a ceramic bowl for easy cleaning and a foot operated flush pedal. The PowerMax 310 RV Toilet item # PM42VR measures 18-1/2" long x 15" wide x 20" tall and has a seat height of 18"....

  • What is Difference between PowerMax 310 and Dometic 410 Toilet
Hey Matt, the Power 310 part # PM42VR is the same as a Dometic 310 but the Dometic 410 # DMC44JF is considered to be a higher end nicer toilet by offering a deeper bowl, a taller 18-inch seating height, and a, elongated, "space-saving" profile compared to the standard height 310. The part # DMC44JF actually comes with a slow close lid as well as a porcelain seat.

  • Replacing SeaLand 510 RV Toilet With Dometic 2 Bolt Flange Toilet Using 4 Bolt To 2 Bolt Adapter
Good eye Donna! Some people just install the 2 bolt Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet (or the new PowerMax # PM42VR and # PM62VR) onto a 4 bolt setup, but only secure it by the 2 bolts, which is not technically correct as this could cause issues and not fit correctly. The correct way to do it is with the Dometic RV Toilet 4 Bolt Flange to 2 Bolt Toilet Adatper # DOM73FR. I've attached a photo of the instructions to help you out. What happened to the old toilet? Just ready to be updated?

  • Does PowerMax RV Toilet Have Flushing Holes All Around The Toilet Bowl
Hey Rick! The PowerMax RV Toilet # PM42VR does have flush holes all around the rim of the bowl. This is how it gets the 360º swirl. It will work with your standard water pump and city water connection. The lid that comes with this toilet is the only option at this time. Make sure you double check your rough-in measurement as well. This requires a 10" rough-in to fit. If you don't have that much space in your Grand Design you won't be able to use this as a replacement. See the attached...

  • Does PowerMax RV Toilet # PM42VR Come with Flange Seal
Hey Joe, yes the PowerMax RV Toilet # PM42VR that you referenced does come with a seal for the floor and everything else needed to install. I attached a picture that shows all of the hardware that comes with this as well.

  • Availability of Elongated Standard Height RV Toilet
Hey Jeff, we do have standard height RV toilets with an elongated bowl but not from PowerMax. The Seaflo Ceramic part # SE42MR would be a great option that is very similar. This is same color, standard height, elongated bowl, and it has a slow close lid. What toilet do you have currently?
