Question:

Can you recommend a model # for a replacement for the original magnetek 7300 converter/charger in my 2008 Airstream. 30Amp electric hook up. Also, does the dc fuse board need to be replaced as well???

The Replacement Converter for Parallax/Magnetek or WFCO RV Power Centers # PD4645V is exactly what you need for your Magnetek 7300. We have checked with Progressive Dynamics before and this is what they told us is needed.

The DC fuse board does not need to be replaced.

Hi Jameson: I have a magnetek 7300 in my 2002 Chinook premier. I noticed I have 24 V coach batteries is that correct for this model? everything else says 12 V on it. I replace them a couple of years ago and that was what was in it and it had been working fine. The batteries are not charging either on AC or while I am driving. I took the cover off the fuse box and I noticed a bunch of melted wires on the top left. Do you know what might have caused this? Do you know what I would need to order to repair this? You guys are great thanks!!

@JimK So your coach runs on a 24 volt system it sounds like but the actual power of the RV portion of the vehicle should be 12 volt as that's the standard there. If you have melted wire and no function that is really concerning and I would have to recommend you find a local electrician to check it out as it's hard to say why that happened.
