What Trailer Hitch do You Have for My 2025 Mini Countryman?

Hello. I’m looking for a tow hitch for a 2025 mini countryman JCW I don’t see any listed for this vehicle? Is it just to new? Do you anticipate a hitch coming available in the future? Thanks.

Congrats on the new Countryman!

We finally got the hitches in... WooHoo!!

You'll want one of the following, depending on how you plan to use it:

If you're only planning to use the hitch for a bike rack, cargo carrier, or other hitch-mounted accessory, go with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # SH77VR. This version includes the hidden 2" receiver but is not designed for towing.

If you plan on towing a light trailer, you'll want the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver with Towing Kit - 2" Ball - Custom Fit # SH79CR. This kit includes the hidden 2" receiver, the removable 2" ball mount, and the 4-way trailer wiring you'll need for towing.

What are you planning to use the hitch for?

Hi Kate I also bought a 2025 mini cooper countryman. I have been approved to buy a travel trailer dry weight 26000 and the mini can pull upto 3500. I am going crazy trying to find a hitch for it. I specifically asked the dealer at the time I test drove it if it had a hitch he told me it did not but I could get an after market installed, now I am stuck.

@Kate Wow Kate, that would be extremely frustrating. The sales people at dealerships are only concerned about making the sale and getting the car out the door, without really listening to their customers needs. He should have known better seeing how he sells MINI's that there were drastic changes done so it is going to take some time for the aftermarket guys to construct a new hitch that is going to fit the changes. There will eventually be a hitch for your vehicle, we just don't know when. I do see that we have a pre-order one for a Curt Class I with a 1 1/4" receiver. I do not recommend getting a class 1 as it will not be able to handle the weight of the trailer, you will most likely want to wait til the Stealth Hitch comes out as they usually have a higher capacity for the MINI's. I am sorry that I do not have a timeline at this time on when it will be. I wish I could have told you this information before you purchased the MINI.

@KateF thank you for your quick response. I am waiting for stelth. They told me there was a 2025 countryman coming in April. They will fabricate it after that.

@RonK I am sorry Ron, but it still listed as coming soon. I wish I had a better answer for you, but when it comes to the future fits we really don't know when they will be released until they are released. It is still listed as "Coming Soon"

@Mike Hello Mike. I wish we had one I could offer you. The frame changed from the 2024 to the 2025, they still have not released a hitch for it. Hopefully they can get one released sometime in the near future. Have you though about a roof rack with a bike carrier? How many bikes are you looking to transport, and what kind?

@KateF I don't want to lift the bikes. There is a hitch available for the S model but not the JCW.

The BMW hitch IS compatible for the 2025 Mini Countrymen JCW. I'm having one installed on mine.
