Interesting Question, Bill. These AC units are intended for RVs or campers, but if you were to install one on a dump truck or bulldozer you would need to use a complete AC system like the Advent # ASA69YR. This comes with a 13.5K BTU AC unit, distribution box, controller and start capacitor. Everything you need to add a whole new AC system.
These AC units run off 110V so you will need to find a way to get power to the unit. Also, these units require a roof thickness of 2-1/2" to 5" thick so depending on your application you may need to build out your roof to meet this spec. Also make sure the roof structure is strong enough to support an AC system weighing about 80 lbs.
