Features to know about

Cools Down Fast When the Heat Builds Up: 13,500 Btu of Steady Performance

When the temperature climbs, this 13,500 Btu system moves cool air fast with its dual motors and efficient design. The high efficiency air conditioner delivers an energy efficiency ratio of 7.1 while drawing only 11.2 amps at 115V. The R32 refrigerant keeps it compliant with 2025 EPA regulations and ensures strong cooling without wasting power. It’s a dependable way to beat the heat and stay comfortable inside.

Keeps Airflow Strong and Balanced: Dual Motors and Adjustable Registers

The air distribution box uses two slotted registers that can be opened or closed to direct airflow exactly where it’s needed. Dual motors move air faster and more evenly than single-motor systems, and the manual controls make it easy to fine-tune how air flows through ducted or non-ducted setups. EVA foam creates a tight seal between the ceiling and box to keep air moving smoothly without leaks.

Starts Up Smoothly on Limited Power: Built-In Start Capacitor

If campsite voltage or generator output dips, this setup still gets going thanks to the start capacitor built into the system. It stores energy during normal operation and releases it during startup to give the compressor an extra boost when power is low. Once running, it resets itself automatically for the next cycle. That means fewer breaker trips and more steady cooling wherever power conditions vary.

Runs Quieter and Stays Protected: Rubber Dampeners and UV-Resistant Cover

Noise stays under control with rubber dampeners on the compressor that cut down vibration and rattling while the unit runs. The UV-resistant cover protects internal components from water and debris, keeping things reliable through long stretches outdoors. Removable filters make cleaning simple so airflow doesn’t drop off from dust or buildup over time.

Built Tough for Easy Installation: Complete System with Mounting Hardware

This bolt-on system includes mounting hardware for the air distribution box, making setup straightforward without hunting for extra parts. The EPP foam housing resists water and chemicals while providing thermal insulation to prevent overheating. At 76 lbs overall, it’s manageable on the roof yet solid enough to hold up trip after trip, backed by a 2-year warranty on both the air conditioner and air distribution box.

The a/c unit is doing the job.

The
lack of dump/vent is the primary deficiency.

Etrailer is a five star organization.

by:

Works very well. Appears well made, but this AC is LOUD.

by:

Had an issue out of the gate with my ac unit cover having broken tabs. Carol from customer service was amazing when I came to taking care of everything I needed including prompt and thorough follow up throughout the process, and ultimately get it replaced. etrailers customer service is in a word OUTSTANDING!!!

by:

Five. Stars on the product maybe two stars on the instructions. Good thing for YouTube and that I’ve installed one before.

by:

Replaced a 26-year-old Coleman Mack (compressor failure) with this. 90-degree, humid Midwest temps no challenge for this. On medium cool I an bring the RV down to 70 degrees inside. Easy install. I did it myself. I like the rotary controls on the disruption panel. I have a hard time with the touch screen thermostats and controllers. Very good replacement for an Older RV with an aging A/C unit.

Great customer service and 2 day delivery!Madison was great to deal with and she answered all of my questions.

etrailer.com has the best customer support I have dealt with on the internet. Great people, great value! Fan for life!!

by:

Easy to install and works great

by:

Installation went quickly and all items were shipped quickly and damage free. Unit cooled nicely but we have yet to put it to the test for more than just initial startup. I do wish it had some sort of condensate collection pan that could be routed with a drain line but that is specific to our application. Fan noise inside is likely louder than most would like but we prefer to have the white noise for sleeping, so no harm done there! The unit itself is very quiet on the outside which is a nice change from the aged unit we replaced. Overall sound product provided it lasts the test of time!

by:

Order was shipped the same day I placed it. Arrived 2 days later.
Everything I needed for the install was included.

by:

I got this unit as a second unit for the front bedroom on my fifth wheel. My trailer had the prep package for an A/C unit so install was relatively straight forward with minimal issues. Once I completed the install I wanted to test it while my trailer was hooked up to a 15amp 120v circuit in my house and the unit started up and ran full power with no issues whatsoever. I fully expect to love the low power and low startup surge of this unit when running of generator or solar generator.

by:

A little loud with air dump open but I might just cut that out because it’s pretty dang quiet without the white cover on or I may make a little chute that comes straight down from the fan out of the vent. Not sure yet but the open/close of the air dump is what makes it so loud but it cools nicely!

Recieved in timely manner. Some damage to the box and some to the coils on the back. Didn't get a chance to take a pic was trying g to get it in before the rain started. Simple hook up and the room was cold cold was told we need another blanket lol. Was also missing screws foe the top cover may have been missed when putting back together for shipping.

Only draw back is it's a little louder than what some of the videos show

  • Why Won't My Fan Shut off on My Furrion 13,500 BTU with Manual Air Distribution Box?
Hello Dan, There’s a good reason why the fan isn’t shutting off. Because the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # FR52TD includes a manual air distribution box the fan will not turn off automatically. The temperature sensor only controls the compressor, which is why you hear it shut off once the desired temperature is reached. However, the fan in the manual air distribution box continues to run until the entire system is manually powered down. The...

  • Recommended 2nd AC System for a 5th Wheel Trailer w/ 2nd AC Prep

  • Replacement AC for a Forest River 5th Wheel Trailer w/a 13,500 btu AC System
Hello Lynda! I checked online and it looks like your 2013 Forest River Salem Lite 356QBQ comes from the factory with a ducted 13,500 btu AC system. I could not find what specific brand or model you have. If you're just trying to replace the air conditioner itself, the Furrion item # FR82PV you were looking at is only going to work if you currently have a Coleman AC system. The EPA mandated a refrigerant change at the beginning of 2025, which made your AC system incompatible with anything...

  • Recommended 2nd AC Unit for a 2011 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel Trailer
Hey Alex. From the information I can find online it does look like your 2011 Keystone Cougar 318SAB does come prepped for a second AC unit. The bedroom roof vent should be reinforced and pre-wired for a 13.5k or 15k BTU unit. To check if your trailer is prepped for a second AC unit, you'll want to look at your bedroom ceiling for a 14"x14"vent, remove the interior trim, and look for a capped Romex cable. To add a second AC system, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System...

  • Troubleshooting Furrion Chill HE Dripping
Hi Mark; the drain holes are located all over on the underside of the unit. You can see them highlighted in the picture below. Make sure they aren't blocked and that the filter on the ADB is blocked. This happened on my Furrion last year and after getting up there and cleaning it the dripping stopped.

  • Upgraded AC System to Replace a Older Dometic AC

  • Would the Velit 2000R Be Powerful Enough to Cool a 2023 Lance 1985 Travel Trailer?
No, it will not Steve. The Velit 2000R item # VE77QV is only an 8k AC system. It's designed for vans so it's going to be way under rated for your 2023 Lance 1985 travel trailer in mild heat. If you get up to the high 80°s or into the 90°s you're going be hurting with this small of an AC system. Instead, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR52TD in black or item # FR95TD in white. These are 13,500 btu AC systems that come with a ductless air distribution...
