If your steering feels loose or wanders over rough pavement, this setup fixes that. The Roadmaster TruTrac Front-Axle Trac Rod braces the axle to the frame, cutting down side-to-side movement that causes rut tracking and veering. The result is steadier steering response and a more predictable ride, even when the road surface changes under you.

Everything about this bar is made for durability. The main rod is thick, cadmium-plated 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength. Install was very straight forward. Did require a 3/4 impact wrench that I did not have to remove U-bolt on leaf spring. (It's nice to have friends that are truck mechanics). Other than that, it was a piece of cake. Have not had a chance to test drive yet, but hoping this does the trick.
The Roadmaster track bar made a significant difference in how well the front end of our Kodiak RV tracked. The rut following and resistance to returning onto the road from the shoulder, lane changing etc. are greatly improved. This should be used in conjunction with other suspension upgrades such as a rear track bar, upgraded shocks and stiffer rear springs to further enhance the handling and vehicle control.
The product is very good. The people are friendly and very nice and very helpful. They even called me and offer their help. I received the product before the delivery date which it was great.I recommend this product and this company to everyone.
ordered a track bar and it was not available right away so i called the factory and etrailer worked with them to make sure i got one right away, very helpful. usually i get etrailer orders in 2 days and sometimes i get them the next day. great people to deal with and the best prices too.
This took 90% of the wonder out of the truck while driving down the road. It is much more predictable to drive now. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago.
Massive Improvement with Drivability, Highly recommend

Looks good, seems to work good only on a test drive. It’s on a very clean 1997 36’ f53 Bounder, with tag axle. It already had 1 5/8” sway bars front & rear. It also has the complete Bank package, so it's a pretty sweet old rig.
I have to say. After installing Koni front shocks a rear track bar now a Front trac bar front I don’t see a big improvement too out way the cost.
I may try a new front sway bar and steering stabilizer but the cost will determine my decision.

I am sorry to say it didnt help my handling issue with the motorhome being pushed around by the wind.
Etrailer comes thru when others can't. I was assured it was in stock and it got delivered today. I have used Etrailer before and will use again. Thanks, Etrailer.
Already had a track bar on the rear axle which made a huge difference in handling. This front bar was also an improvement. Well worth the money.

If you have an gas motorhome this is one of the best investments you can make. I opted for front and rear trac bars along with new shocks . What a world of difference. Absolutely not pushed by wind or passing trucks. After traveling over the country’s really bad roads we had sumo springs installed. They help but the trac bars were by far a better improvement. We traveled 12,000 miles this summer plus 5,000 in a tow car. We crossed the great divide a half dozen times. All with confidence in a 2005 model fleetwood. I couldn’t imagine trying to drive that trip with the original equipment.
Haven’t driven RV yet, front axle track rod installed easy and feels heavy duty, can’t wait to take it for a ride. Highly recommend etrailer for parts and their service
