Hey Scott! I've got an axle I think will work for you but I am concerned about your measurement. Our axle's are categorized by hub-face-to-hub-face and spring-center-to-spring-center measurements as shown in the diagram below. We do not go by the backing plate distance.
The 3,500 lbs axle I found is the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles item # 7359765. It has 95" hub-face-to-hub-face and 80" spring-center-to-spring-center measurements. For compatible 5 on 5 hubs you'll want two of the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # AKHD-550-35-EZ-K.

Hey Scott, did the Dexter 3,500-lb axle and 5 on 5 hub assemblies end up matching your trailer’s measurements once you rechecked them? Knowing how that fit worked out could really help others trying to size their axles the same way.
