Availability of Trailer Hitch for 2007 Ford Focus Wagon

Question:

Hello, There are hitches for a 2007 Ford Focus sedan and hatchback listed, but not for the wagon. Is there a hitch that fits a 2007 Ford Focus wagon? Thank you.

Hi Tom; what you need is the Curt 11296. Curt actually discontinued this hitch earlier this year and we no longer have it in stock but, you may still be able to find it elsewhere. If you aren't able to find one, the only option is to take the # E17 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a custom hitch for your vehicle.

Hey Tom, were you able to track down the Curt hitch for your Focus wagon or go the custom route with a fabricator? Knowing what worked could help someone else trying to fit a hitch on the same model.

@RobinH Hello Robin. I did eventually find a Curt 11296 model in a small shop in Washington. It's been working great. I even towed a U-haul trailer with 24 boxes of books and tools from Biloxi to Portland with it in January. Thanks.
