I have a 2024 Grand Highlander and want to mount a platform on my OEM crossbars and eventually a 270degree bat wing awning. What do you recommend for the products for my Grand Highlander?

Hi Sancho,
Manufacturers haven't had a chance to test fit for the best sizing of their platforms for the 2024 Grand Highlander yet so you'll want to measure yourself to figure out how large of a platform will work for the roof and for your needs. Rhino-Rack has platforms that come with crossbar compatible attachment points that you can use to clamp down on your OEM crossbars. We offer the following sizes for this mounting style:
48" Long x 38" Wide # RR42114BF
58" Long x 47" Wide # RR42115BF
As with any roof rack you'll want to verify the capacity of your vehicle's roof as well as the capacity of the OEM crossbars prior to loading anything.
The Batwing awning you referenced would be able to mount to the tracks in the platform rack whenever you're ready for it. We offer a driver's side # RR33100 and passenger's side # RR33200.
