Bought this hitch several years ago and am very pleased with its durability and performance. I keep it in the truck bed almost all the time now. Is there a cover made for this hitch or is there a different cover that will worj for this hitch?

Hi Alan; there isn't a specific cover for your Demco Recon 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550045-5W. You can try using the Cover for Demco 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM14844 which is designed for the wider Autoslide head but it won't be a perfect fit. You can also use a universal cover like the Classic Accessories Cover for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # CA80116 which measures 24" wide x 24" long x 18" tall.
