Question:
I bought 2 Advent AC units Then bought 2 Heat strips for them and the heat strips are terrible , the units on heat only run high fan and the amount od heat sucks. 45 outside and cannot get the rv to go over 50 degrees , I hate to see when really cold weather gets here we will be freezing . And yes I installed them as per instuctions on both units . running on shore power 50 amp . Suggestions ?:? Thank you

Hey John,
The Advent Heat Strip # ACMHD is really only meant to knock the chill out of the air and shouldn't be relied on as an only source of heat when the temp outside gets cold.
To heat up your living space to whatever temp you're wanting, you'll either need a furnace or a fireplace like the Greystone # 324-000076 in order to do that.

Hi Jon; Thank you for the reply. I guess I was used to our old units which were Duo Therm with heat coils which did heat both the back and front of the RV in below 30* temps . I have not used our gas furnace in this unit yet but guess that will be my next venture when I fill the Propane tank or hook up a small tank to try it out I am looking at that fire place unit you sent thanks
