Will Hollywood Racks Safety LED Light Bar for Bike Racks Work With 2024 Chevy Colorado

I am interested in the Hollywood Racks Safety LED Light Bar for Bike Racks Part Number: HLY54RR. There seems to be compatibility issues. Do you know if this light bar will work with a 2024 Chevy Colorado OEM trailer wiring? I do not want to add an adapter to the item.

Hi Dean; we have no way of knowing for sure if the Hollywood Racks Safety LED Light Bar for Bike Racks # HLY54RR will work with your 2024 Chevy Colorado since we haven't had a chance to test it. More than likely it will not work without using an adapter. LED lights like these don't pull a lot of power and when they don't pull enough power you can get the warning lights or hyperflash. The same can be true with trailers that have LED lights.
I know you don't want to use an adapter but the only solution I have is to use the 7-Way to 4-Way/5-Way Trailer Adapter for Vehicles with Lamp-Out Sensors # C35FR. The adapter has a built in resistor which solves the problem of the LEDs not pulling enough power.
