Reese Goose Box that Fits Jayco HT Eagle 28.5 RSTS

Question:

I have a Jayco HT Eagle 28.5 rsts fifth wheel camper it has a Morryde Orbital pin box part number RTPB83-1622 GVWR 16000 LBS wanting to replace it with Reese gooseneck air lift what part number will fit my Camper or brand would fit

Hey Brian, based on the GVWR of your trailer and the current pin box the correct Reese Goose Box would be the part # RP94716.

Is there a kit that I need to buy to both this to my camper because the bolt pattern on the reese goose pin box is completely different from what I have . My bolt pattern is opposite I have four bolts to each side. The outer bolts are 11 1/2 to center my inner bolts are 7 1/2 to center

@Brian Are there any numbers on the pin box that might indicate what model it is? Otherwise I attached a link to help ID it using the bolt dimensions.

@JamesonC Morryde Orbital part number RTB83-1622 GVWR 16000 lb. S/N:S0002757471 RPO-0002003911 LCI Item number 7695302 this is all the number I can find.

@Brian The 1622 style you have should be a direct fit with the Goose Box as the bolt pattern is same as the 1621. Is it possible the pin box wasn't lined up all the way?

@GregM That is a MORryde pin box that we don't have a replacement for at this time. It's the swiveling pin box correct? Are you wanting a fixed pin box instead by chance?

@JamesonC any pin box or other kind of hitch would be fine. Someone removed the pin box that was there. And we just need something that will fit those brackets.

@GregM MORryde has that part number listed as a factory install only. I wish we had something but I would have to recommend you check with them directly to see if they have a way to get you the pin box.
