Question:
I’ve got 8000 lb axles with 5/8 studs are there any other wheels I can use other than 17.5 pilot wheels the 8 lug wheels I have are for 1/2 or 9/16 studs

Currently the only other size wheels we have than the 17.5" # AM32NR which fits a 5/8" stud are dual wheels like the 16" # AM20790. You can consider switching to the Trailer Hub Wheel Stud # 7-223 so your axle can use a 9/16" wheel stud. You will need to verify the mounting hole size for your wheel studs to ensure this is the correct size.

Hey, were you able to check the mounting hole size on your axle to see if the 9/16 wheel studs would fit? Knowing what you found could help others trying to match wheels to 8000 lb axles with 5/8 studs.
