What Is The Weight Capacity Of The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver DT76PR

Question:
is the DT76pr more in line with subaru manufacturer hitch? and to confirm, its a 5000 lb but i read somewhere else it s to a 3500 lb for this tongue style? why the if it appears more stable than the straight flat hitch?

Hello again Peter. The Draw-Tite # DT76PR is similar to the OEM style hitch since the receiver can be concealed behind the removable bumper fascia plate. This hitch is rated for towing 5,000 lbs or 5000 lbs of tongue weight.
