Question:
I have a 25 foot enclosed trailer. I am customizing for a customer in addition to all the internal cabinets and workspace and storage. I’m also doing all of the wiring and electrical for it. He’s wanting to run LED lighting so DC but wants the convenience of having 120 V outlets in different areas of the trailer for chargers, etc. Would your Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel be up for the task you think? I would say it’s overkill but being on your lighter scale of what you have I see it’s my option for if he wanted to ever put an air conditioner, etc. have your loads within the trailer. Also, what would be the estimated time on that getting to me up in Alberta Canada?

Hey Brian,
The Progressive Dynamics # PD4060K would be a super easy way to accomplish what you're customer is wanting. It houses both the AC distribution and DC distribution along with having a built in smart charger to keep your battery charged up while connected to shore power. When connected to shore power the built in converter would also power the DC side even if your battery is dead or disconnected.
Shipping is out of my wheelhouse since I'm just on the technical side but you should be able to see an estimated arrival by entering in your zip code. There's a blue zip code button under the yellow add to cart button that you can click on to enter it.

Hey Brian, were you able to get the Progressive Dynamics converter set up for your trailer’s wiring and outlets? Knowing how it handled both the AC and DC loads could help others planning similar builds. Your update could make it easier for the next person working on a custom trailer setup.
