Hello, we have a small 2000 Airstream Bambi 16. Were starting our Alaska prep for next spring. Were looking to get some spare parts for the trip. Could you help us out with picking the right axel parts and others that we will need?

Hello Branden. In order to help find the right replacement parts I would need more information about the axle. Unfortunately, I do not have a database that provides me with the information that is needed to find the correct parts. The axle should have a tag on it with the weight rating, if it does not or if it is too worn I am attaching a help article on how to measure the diameter to figure out the weight rating (i.e. 2 3/8" would be a 3,500 axle). I would also need the bearing numbers, you can take the bearings out and clean them off to find the numbers stamped on them, or you can measure them using a Digital Caliper like part # PTW80157 I would need both inner and outer measurements on each bearing.

If you are looking for suspension replacement parts, then I would need to know the shackle strap measurement from center of eye to center of eye, leaf spring measurement from eye to eye unloaded weight, so if needed please jack the trailer up up to get an accurate measurement so you do not have to remove the spring. For example if you have a 3500 axle with a measurement of 25-1/4" then you would need part # DX23CR. If you are looking for a back up equalizer as well, I would need to know the brand and the measurement from center bottom holt to center bottom hole.

Once I get the information needed, I am happy to recommend the correct replacement parts.
