Question:
Is there an option to turn this into a security camera with monitoring constantly while the tow vehicle is disconnected?

Hey Conrad,
Yes, the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FR98NR just requires 12v power so if you can just install a 7-way socket # HM48480 on your trailer with a wire running from the running light circuit of that socket to either your battery or power center DC distribution board and protect it with a 20 amp fuse. You could also install a switch # PK34360 inline to cut power when the socket isn't in use.
You'd also need a 12v outlet # DG61023VP inside the camper for the monitor to plug into.

Hey Conrad, how did things go with wiring the Furrion Vision S camera for constant monitoring when your tow vehicle is disconnected? Sharing what setup worked could really help others trying to power their camera the same way.
