Will Roadmaster Comfort Ride Change Ground Clearance on 5th Wheel Toy Hauler

Question:

I have a 2019 dutchman voltage 3705 5th wheel toy hauler that I am looking to upgrade with this system. The only concern i have is ground clearence. Does this setup change the ground clearance from the stock setup of my camper? If its minimal i dont mind but if significant, i might go another route.

Hey Thomas,

That's a really good question, and your ground clearance and right height won't change on your Dutchmen toy hauler when installing the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570.

You'll use the same hangers for the leaf springs you have now, and the axle will also remain above the leaf springs, so your trailer is going to maintain the same clearances it currently has. So there won't be clearance issues with the # RM-2460-2570, just a much smoother, more comfortable towing experience for you.
