Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this 9/16" diameter shackle bolt for the double-eye spring. Now this 9/16" diameter sized shackle bolt is used to mount your double-eye leaf spring to your front or rear hanger that's on your trailer suspension. Now this bolt is designed to work with the locknut, which we do sell separately on our website. That locknut part number is TRFA916DLNZ and it's usually listed on this product page as a related product.Again, this is for one shackle bolt.
The dimensions on this bolt, the length and the length will always be measured from underneath the hex head to the end of the bolt so you can see there's your 3-1/4" length. The diameter again is 9/16". Now the threads on the end of this bolt is 18 threads per inch. The hex head size or the socket that'll fit on there is a 13/16 size. You can see I pulled a socket just to show you the size.
The last thing is this bolt has a Grade 5 rating. The way you can tell is if you look at the head of the bolt, you'll see three straight lines on it that indicates that it has a Grade 5 rating on it.That should do it for the review on the 9/16" diameter shackle bolt for the double-eye springs..

Not impressed with these at all, for the price they should include nuts and friction tabs like other shackle bolts. They also use a fine thread so you have to buy nuts from them also or you will not be able to source them locally.

If you can use one that is three inches long then we do have one that comes with the locknut. It is part # ABS74FR.
