I am trying to figure out what front tie downs to put on my truck and can’t figure out the difference between a 2140 and 2142. My truck is: 2019 dodge ram 2500 diesel Crew cab Aftermarket running boards, cab length. 6 1/2 ft bed Thanks

Hey Robert, I did some checking and the correct front Torklift tie downs for your 2019 Ram 2500 are the part # TLD2140.

The # TLD2142 does also fit your truck. The reason it is also an option is that it was made to accommodate other vehicle configurations but happened to also fit some of the same variations as the # TLD2140.

We do have camper tie-downs that will fit on your 2019 Ram 2500 but since you have the running boards none of the TorkLift Tie-Downs will fit. You could use parts #TLD2140 and #TLD3113 if you removed the running boards (or steps) but since I doubt…

The front Torklift tie down you need for a 2019 Ram 3500 without the steps is the part #TLD2140. The #TLD2142 that you mentioned only fits models with the factory steps.

Hey Alex, for your 2021 Ram 2500 we have the Torklift Talon tie down kit part #TL34QV which comes with the correct front and rear set of tie downs for your truck. Of the part numbers you mentioned only the front set are a fit for your truck.
