When you’re driving long distances with a camper loaded, the last thing you want is sway or shifting weight. These TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs mount directly to the truck’s frame—the most solid part of the vehicle—so your camper stays stable mile after mile. By distributing weight evenly and lowering the center of gravity, this setup keeps handling smooth and predictable, even in strong crosswinds or on uneven roads.
These front tie-downs bolt to existing holes in the frame for a clean, no-drill installation. That means you won’t have to modify your truck or compromise its structure. The custom fit also ensures the brackets sit tight and high up under the body, minimizing loss of ground clearance so you can drive confidently on rough terrain.
When you’re not hauling, just pull the tie-down arms out and your truck looks factory-clean again. The mounting brackets stay tucked nearly flush beneath the body, making them nearly invisible. You get full camper security when you need it and a neat appearance when you don’t.

Made from durable black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs are built to resist corrosion and hold up through harsh weather and road conditions. The finish protects against rust while maintaining strength after years of use—ideal for anyone who puts serious miles on their rig.
Each arm has two pin holes so you can extend it for easier access around fenders or sidewalls. Two anchor holes on the attachment plate let you fine-tune your turnbuckle angle for a snug, balanced hold on your camper. Once tensioned correctly, the setup keeps your camper locked down securely without contact against the truck body.

Started rusting with in the first 6 weeks needless to say I’m disappointed in the powder coating of the tiedowns
Product is great,,,,instructions suck. How much trouble would it be to do a couple more illustrations.
Your hardware instructions were fine,,,,,Just the re-routing emergency brake cable was beyond bad.
(perhaps a video?)
I verify that TLD2140 fits the 2024 Ram 3500 Crew Cab 8 ft Bed. It involves some patience and an extra person helping is almost a must have. The directions were very well written. Take your time and have patience when removing the parking brake cables. Yes, you must have a torque wrench.
E-trailer has the best price and fast shipping. The 2140's were easy to install and the best tie downs on the market.
Easy installation on a 2020 Ram 3500 Dually. Most difficult part of the Front Tie Down installation was removing the emergency brake cables. This Tie Down is a quality product.
All of the parts were in the box and the frame mounted camper tie downs fit my application perfectly. Instructions were easy to understand and I was highly satisfied with the purchase for my 2022 Ram 3500 longbed
I installed these on my 2022 Ram 3500 SRW over a year ago for use with a Northern Lite 9-6 camper. Excellent instructions, installation was easy with simple tools, fit and finish is very good and they perform exactly as required. Definitely recommend!
Instruction regarding removing brake cable were not real helpful. The e brake adjustment bolt that the instructions say to loosen is in a bracket that does not allow you to get a wrench on it, you need a 1/2” socket that’s about 4” deep. I ended up putting a socket over it and then turned it with vise grips( not ideal). The instructions also say to pry open the tabs on the e brake coupler
but nothing needed done with tabs I had to get a small punch and drive the loose end of the cable out of the coupler as it’s extremely tight in the coupler.
After finally getting the e brake cables out of the way the rest of the install went ok. I’m a bit disappointed in the fit as the Tie down inserts come into contact with the very end of the truck running boards and have to be tapped in scuffing the end cap on the factory running boards. A little fine tuning needs to be done to make these everything they say they are. 2022 Ram 2500
I installed these on a 2019 Ram 2500 Laramie with a 6.7L Cummins, 6.5 foot bed length, running boards on the cab, and a factory hitch. I'm not a gear head (auto mechanic) and the install was pretty straight forward and not complicated. Most of the time involved to install these was dedicated to disconnecting and reconnecting the parking brake cables. Great product and the delivery was quick. Hope this helps others in determining fitment for purchasing.
Shipped fast, well ahead of expected date.
The manufacturers written installation instructions were appalling and the few videos I found online from them were less than not helpful. (I work for a manufacturer myself and was shocked at this).
Were it not for etrailers videos I could not have figured installation out. I say figure it out because understandably I didn’t find model specific videos but enough information to see how they should install.
So, TorkLift gets 5 product stars/-10 installation instruction stars and etrailer gets 5+ stars all around!
This is the second truck I've put these on and I still am really pleased with them. The install is easy, and they are rock solid. The only downside I'll point out is you are unable to use running boards with these (at least on Ram trucks). So that is something to keep in mind if you are vertically challenged. But I think its a fair trade-off.
Haven't had time to install these camper tie-downs yet, have to do it outside and it is toooo cold!!
I wasn't planning on purchasing a new set of Tie-Downs, but having my truck totaled by a careless driver, changed that plan.
Bought the front and rears to install on my new 2021 Ram 2500. Installation was a snap, literally under an hour for the set of four. Using them to secure my Lance 650, they have worked as excellently as the previous set did (may they rest in peace).
as usual, etrailer's sales and service were top shelf.
Easy install and just a great product. Install took 90 minutes for front and rear mounts.
So far we have only received the front tie-downs. They installed without problem. I will be glad to review the other two items when they arrive. The instructions were very good.
We previously bought a truck camper and older truck with tie downs. A year ago we decided to upgrade to a new truck which of course meant buying and installing new TorkLift tiedowns. After some hand wringing I made the appropriate purchase and took the next step of installing them. I did feel reassured that the product was set up for our specific truck. Although I do some work on the camper and all I am not a mechanic so I will say this product was a cinch to install.
Great service and fast shipment. Install was very straightforward. My biggest issue was having the right sockets for the factory nuts and bolts on the car. Directions were clear and posed no issue.

Works great. Very secure tie down. Most of our camping is off road boondocking and we have confidence in the camper being secure in the truckbed.
Product seems decent quality. When received, some of the powder coat was flaking off which doesn’t bother me because it’s under the truck and going to get dirty anyways. Also, the figment was not that great, when installing the front mounts on my 2020 ram, they do not fit that great and didn’t not sit flush on the frame. In order to get them to sit flush, I had to tighten the top two bolts a little, then tighten the bottoms two that attach to the sandwich plate on the frame side to suck the mount in towards the frame. Then I tightened down the top two bolts the rest of the way which pulled the tabs up and kind of bent it into place.

You mentioned that the installation was a not a smooth one and I wanted to see if you could send a picture of the tie downs installed. I would like to send this information to the manufacturer for review.
The front tie down took about 1 hour to install. Can’t wait to get my camper next month and tow a 26ft trailer to Alaska. Still have to save more money to get the super truss. Hopefully E-trailer will give me awesome discount.
These are a must with a slide in. I would not do it any other way. This with a set of fastguns and you're all set.

Awesome, I would not use any other system.

Torklift makes a very high quality product. Extremely strong construction.
The torklift tie down system is a must. I’ve had them on my GMC Denali the make loading and securing my lance camper a breeze. I just ordered a new set because I recently purchased a new ram truck and the old bracket wouldn’t fit. Not sure how it could be done with out your products.
These do look to be of good quality and finish. That said, the packaging it was shipped had almost no paper to hold the items in place so the black finish had many large gouges in it. Then when installed the middle bolt snapped off inside the frame of my truck while torquing to 75lbs. I was using a torque wrench set at 75lbs. After finishing the installation I check fit and clearance. These were supposed to work with my truck configuration according to etrailer website, however they do clear the factory running boards.
One side fit perfect. Other side strait out of the box had a huge booger weld on the back that made it not fit. Ground the boogers off so it would sit flush and then the bolt holes don't line up. Never mind that the website said free delivery in 3 days when I placed the order. Next morning shipping pushed another day. Then the next push another day. Ended up taking 8 days for them to arrive. When I called about it no replacement brackets available for 3 weeks.
