Question:

I have the NV Base 2.0 purchased September of this year. I cannot locate the keys and believe they were probably thrown away. Also, I did not realize this until after I had locked my bike on the rack. I had to use my Sawzall to remove. Therefore, I need to replace the lock core on the part that attaches to my car hitch. I need to replace 2 lock cores on the 2nd bike rack and the 3 bike addon I have. As well as the original lock and lock core of the one I sawed to get my bike off. 4 lock cores and 1 lock chain. Instructions on how to replace without having the original keys. Thank you,

Rabecca, to replace your hitch lock on your Kuat NV Base 2.0 you can use the Hitch Lock for Kuat Bike Racks # HL2, and to replace the other 3 lock cores you can use the Replacement Lock Cores for Kuat Cargo Carriers and Bike Racks # LOCO4.

To replace the lock cores, you will just need to use the included change key to remove the old lock and then you'll be able to install the new cores.
