How To Replace Kuat Lock Cores

Question:

I have lost the key to my cables do I need to replace the cables or can I replace them with just a new lock mechanism. Watching the video it looks like I have to have the key to take the lock mechanism out. Please advise.:

Hi Nathan,

In order to easily remove the lock core you would need to have the correct key to unlock it. If you know your lock code then you can order a replacement key directly from Kuat. If you don't know your lock code then you can carefully drill out the center of the lock to loosen it enough to pull out and then replace with new lock cores # LOCO6.
