How to Have the Keys Match on a Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack After Swapping Out the Hitch Pin

Hi, I swapped the tow Kuat key to the older version to work with my Telsa. Installed ready to go, bike locked. I am now assuming the keys to the original tow key might be different than the ones I have with me?

The Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # BA22B comes with the cable locks and hitch pin lock keyed alike so you would only need 1 key for your lock.

It sounds like you swapped out the hitch pin, this would cause the cable locks to no longer be keyed the same as the hitch pin. So, you would need 2 different keys. 1 for the hitch pin and 1 for the cable locks. If you wanted to have all of the locks matching again, you could use the Replacement Lock Cores for Kuat Cargo Carriers and Bike Racks # LOCO4 to swap out the lock cores on your rack and hitch pin.
