Availability Of Replacement Wheel For Ark Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Jack w/ 2 Wheels ARK54FR

Updated 10/11/2024 | Published 10/10/2024

Question:

I purchased the ratcheting jack a couple years ago. It works as advertised, however, the rubber on the wheels is starting to shred and may come off soon. Is there a way to purchase replacement wheels for the model ARK54FR?

Hey Don, thanks for reaching out. I do see that you got the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Jack w/ 2 Wheels # ARK54FR from us back in April of 2021. As luck would have it, we actually have the product managers from ARK here at out office today, so I went ahead and presented your question to them. Here is what I found out:

A replacement wheel for the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Jack w/ 2 Wheels # ARK54FR is not yet available. These wheels are extremely durable and you will be one of the fist cases they have seen of the wheel actually going bad and falling apart. It takes a lot of use for that to happen to the wheel, and most people have not used the jack enough or owned it for long enough for the wheel to go bad. That said, there will be a replacement wheel coming soon. I am afraid I do not have a firm ETA for you at this time, but if all goes well you should be able to get a new wheel sometime next year. Hopefully your wheel can hang in there a bit longer.

I am going to be in touch with my contact at ARK, and he will be emailing me when we get closer to the availability date. I will go ahead and CC you in to our email chain so you can be in the loop.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much Jesse for taking the time to look into this for me. I do use the jack for its intended use, and the trailer is well within the specifications of it. Yes, I would like to know when the replacement wheel(s) are available. I don't think I mentioned it, but the wheel with the cracked rubber is on the non-sprocket side. Thanks, Don

@DonS Happy to help, Don. Good to know the wheel is on the non-sprocket side. Based on my conversation yesterday, my understanding was that both wheels are identical. This is the case with the other ARK dual wheel jacks. We will make sure to keep this in mind when the time comes. For now, just keep an eye on your email and hopefully we can get you that new wheel(s) sooner rather than later.
