Roadmaster End Link Dimensions for 1999 Ford F-53 with 26,000 GVWR Chassis

Updated 10/11/2024 | Published 09/29/2024

Question:

1999 F53 PA 36B, 26000 chassis My front and rear end-links are 9.88-10inch eye-to-eye as best I can measure. They have poly bushings in them. the OD pf the link is 9/16. 1 Are the 590147 or 590185 larger dia than 9/16? theres room for Length adjustment so could be longer or shorter. I understand the the 2 mentioned are 8.5 and 11. If they arent large dia rod I wont be gaining any stiffness. 1 can I use your end-links? will I gain anything?...2 can I purchase the frame mount bracket and the Y end-links separately from you? NOTE: a. already have 1.5inch front and rear sway bars. so not interested in the whole kit. b. have true trak. c. have Roadmaster reflex also. drives much better with True-trak and Reflex-Steer but looking to get more improvement. see attached like to buy the green hilite pieces.

Hey Tony, thanks for reaching out!

The End Link Kit # RM-590147-00 will match better length-wise since it measures 11" center eye to center eye, and it has a 3/4" diameter. The diameter of the end links can have an effect on performance, but it also depends on the diameter of the anti-sway bar you have as well.

As for the Hellwig Kit # HE36XR, we aren't able to break up those brackets and links into separate pieces.

well. no one could break up the kit so I opted to buy the 11" end links & take the risk they would fit with my ford OEM sway bar. they did. I had to use the OEM bolt on the sway end BC the hole was only big enuf for 12mm to go thru. I have a PPT with all info but no way to attach it here.

@Anthony I unfortunately don't have a way to get photos added on here yet (I've been told that should be something in the near-ish future), but would you be willing to submit a review that would live on the product page itself? With a review you can tell your story and add the photos so future readers/purchasers can see what all you did.
